Egg-citing Eggs-periment

Date: 22nd Nov 2016 @ 7:43pm

We received a letter from the Little Red Hen explaining that she needed some help to keep her eggs safe as there

was a very naughty fox who kept dropping her eggs. We dropped an egg onto a tray to see what would happen to

it and as the children predicted it smashed!

The children set to work in small groups or individually to make something that would help protect the egg. The

children used a variety of materials e.g. boxes, masking tapes, materials etc. Once the children were happy their

eggs were protected. We dropped them to see if their 'egg protecters' had worked! Have a look at the pictures to

see if they were sucessful.
