March Madness!

Date: 29th Mar 2017 @ 1:55pm

It has been another busy month here in the Nursery.

We have continued with our Pirates topic, making pirates and collaging some wonderful colourful underpants!

Mother's Day brought cards, beautifully decorated with sequins and glitter (you're welcome. 😬)

The weather enabled us to better utilise our outdoor area and we are looking forward to many more days out there in the sunshine so please send in hats, cover shoulders and slather on the sun cream before Nursery.

We have been interested in minibeasts so we developed a micro topic, and have so far learnt about spiders (ask your child about The Very Busy Spider) and caterpillars (Miss O'Dowd has thoroughly enjoyed reading and getting crafty with The Very Hungry Caterpillar.)

Red Nose Day saw some hilarious costumes and we went to the hall for a special assembly and were impeccably behaved.  Two children even made it into the magnificent Hogwarts book. Super sitting Nursery children 👍🏼.

We baked Easter treats, and after Mrs Baumber had finished testing the mixture, there was just enough left to make Easter nests....phew!

We are now ready for a well earned rest but are looking forward to Summer term and our new topic called Once Upon A Time, so keep an eye out for grumpy trolls, wicked stepmothers and a little girl with porridge round her face!

Happy Easter!
