Whizz, pop, whoosh, bang! (Nursery)

Date: 6th Nov 2017 @ 9:37pm

Last week in Nursery went with a bang! We started the week by looking at pumpkins (see previous blog) and ended it with bonfires and fireworks.

Our continuous provision was enhanced with sparkly coloured water, firework words to copy, a firework creation station, sparkly edible sweetie sticks, interactive firework counting games and to top it off, a huge bonfire was constructed outdoors with the help of our very creative and imaginative children.  We were very safety conscious as you can see and made sure we kept a safe distance whilst we drank our 'hot chocolate'! Delicious!  Fireman Sam also popped up to give us a little safety talk about how to keep safe on Bonfire Night.

Thank you also for the wonderful Learning Selfies that have been sent in recently,  we really do appreciate them and the children are always delighted to see their face on the big screen.
