Mindfulness is taught to the children at Kew Woods. Mindfulness is all about learning to direct to our attention to the present moment, and our children learn how different parts of the brain can be developed to improve concentration, the ability to get on with others, and how to cope with stress and anxiety.

The course we teach is called 'Paws B'. It aims to give children mindfulness as a life skill, as it can help us to feel happier, calmer and more fulfilled.
