At Kew Woods Primary School, we understand that families sometimes need extra support. The Team Around the School (TAS) approach brings together school staff and a range of partner services to help children and families access the right support at the right time.

TAS is designed to provide early help with a wide range of concerns, including emotional wellbeing, behaviour, family routines, parenting support, housing, health concerns, speech and language development, and financial worries. Working together with families, we identify strengths, discuss concerns, and create a personalised plan of support tailored to individual needs.

The process is voluntary and family-centred, ensuring that the views and wishes of children and their families remain at the heart of all discussions and decisions. Through collaboration with education, health, and early help professionals, we can help families access the support they need before concerns become bigger challenges.
