Nursery information
Thank you for your interest in applying for a place in our Nursery. We are delighted that you are considering joining our school community.
Our Nursery is a welcoming, nurturing space where children learn through play, exploration and meaningful experiences. Our caring team supports each child to grow in confidence, develop independence and build positive relationships. We create a joyful, engaging environment that helps every child thrive from the very start of their learning journey.
Admissions
We give priority to children in the care of the Local Authority, children with siblings already attending the school and children who live closest to the school.
Demand for places is high, so we encourage you to apply promptly by completing our online Expression of Interest form below.
Nursery hours and funding
We offer 15- and-30-hour funded places for children aged 3-4 years old.

Children can join Nursery from the term after their 3rd birthday, provided there is space. We have intakes in September, January and April.
You will receive a letter the term before your child is due to start confirming whether they have been offered a place or added to our waiting list. For example, if your child turns 3 in January, you will receive a letter before the April intake.
Transition into Nursery
Every child settles differently, and if needed, we will tailor our transition processes to meet individual needs.
Our transition process includes:
- Stay and play session for you and your child
- Home visit from our Nursery team
- 1-hour nursery visit for your child (without parent/carer)
- Full session start following the 1-hour visit (unless an enhanced transition is recommended)
